Maybe I'm a jello-head, but I'm happy with this, and the other "Dave's" . Sure, I could dig through, and find some shows I would rather have out .
But some of you folks sure seem grumpy, almost churlish about all this .

I don't why I would have expected an aging head population to defy ugly demographic stereotypes; honestly, can most of you envision what your younger selves would have said 20-40 years ago about the commercial availability of well engineered, strong - if not necessarily superlative - shows from the band's most prominent years/tours? If "snarkey" is the newest incarnation of self-empowerment, then you're marching to America's favourite tune! "won't even take your life/won't even take a limb/just unload my shotgun/take a little skin"/katie

Dude I agree with you about the crotchity old fucks bitching far too much about this shit....The show is superb and extremely well played. It has several elements that make it release worthy.

The only thing I question is the timing....Why relese this one right on the heels of the Monster May '77 box? This show also sounds just like a '77 show and will probably suffer from the shitty timing of forcing this one out right on top of the May '77 box.

It may not be the most popular, but it is a known good by the community as a whole for the most part. Everyone just relax and really give this one a spin. This source sounds freakin perfect:

Cheers!

I happen to really like the this period, big Keith era fan, from beginning to end, but the timing does seem odd .

Yeah....I am a big fan of '78 and '79 in general. Not sure what it is, really. BUT.....

It seems to me that the 80's have been overlooked for far too long now. Not a single live release from 1987? What's up with that?
